CJ BENOITON

From the age of 9 CJ trained in performing arts at School Of The Arts (SOTA).

At 16 she trained full time at Read College gaining an Extended Diploma in Performing Arts during which she was supported by the charity Arts 4 Everyone with a bursary towards her training.

In 2026, CJ graduated from ArtsEd having trained on the BA Hons Musical Theatre Degree Course, during which she received financial support from School Of The Arts (SOTA), the Leverhulme Fund and The Arts Ed Scholarship Fund.

CJ made her professional musical theatre debut in the 2026 sell out Barbican production of Death Note the Musical.

She choreographed the ‘Holiday’ music video for Alessandro Boldini, working alongside Director, Dean Sherwood and has presented acts on the Main Stage at Camp Bestival.

CJ is covering the role of Eliza in the upcoming Pilochry Festival Theatre production of My Fair Lady with Alan Cummings playing Higgins this Christmas.

“I recognise the important part that the financial support I received during my training played in my being able to access the level of training I was able to receive. I’m excited to create new opportunities for the next generation, with a particular interest in finding ways to support looked after and adopted children, and young performers representing the global majorities.”
